Tourism and Air Transportation Developments August 2024

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Surakarta City in August 2024 was recorded at 50.63 percent, a decrease of 6.53 points compared to the TPK in July 2024 which was recorded at 57.15 percent. Meanwhile, the TPK of non-star hotels was recorded at 28.40 percent, a decrease of 2.83 points compared to the TPK in July 2024 which was recorded at 31.22 percent.

The Average Length of Stay (LSL) of star hotel guests in August 2024 was recorded at 1.45 days, an increase of 0.02 points compared to July 2024 which was recorded at 1.43 days. Meanwhile, the RLM of non-star hotels was recorded at 1.09 days, a decrease of 0.02 points compared to July 2024 which was recorded at 1.11 days.

The number of commercial aircraft passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo Airport in August 2024 was 49,371 people, consisting of 48,078 domestic flight passengers and 1,293 international flight passengers. This figure decreased by 31.87 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 72,470 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo Airport in August 2024 were 45,835 people, consisting of 43,681 domestic passengers and 2,154 international passengers. This figure decreased by 9.25 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 50,505 people.
