Tourism and Air Transportation Developments August 2023

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Surakarta City in August 2023 was recorded at 52.81 percent, a decrease of 6.10 points compared to the TPK in July 2023 which was recorded at 58.91 percent.

The average length of stay (RLM) for all star hotel guests in August 2023 was recorded at 1.44 days, an increase of 0.07 points compared to July 2023 which was recorded at 1.37 days.

The number of commercial airplane passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in August 2023 totaled 51,790 people, consisting of 47,640 domestic flight passengers and 4,150 international flight passengers. This figure has decreased by 36.35 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 81,370 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport in August 2023 totaled 47,330 people, all of whom were domestic flight passengers. This figure decreased by 16.72 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 56,830 people.
