Tourism and Air Transportation Developments March 2024

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Surakarta City in March 2024 was recorded at 38.45 percent, a decrease of 9.22 points compared to the TPK in February 2024 which was recorded at 47.67 percent. Meanwhile, the TPK for non-star hotels was recorded at 24.29 percent, a decrease of 3.08 points compared to the TPK in February 2024 which was recorded at 27.37 percent.

The average length of stay (RLM) for star hotel guests in March 2024 was recorded at 1.37 days, an increase of 0.05 points compared to February 2024 which was recorded at 1.32 days. Meanwhile, RLM for non-star hotels was recorded at 1.13 days, an increase of 0.02 points compared to February 2024 which was recorded at 1.11 days.

The number of commercial airplane passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in March 2024 was 39,976 people, consisting of 38,302 domestic flight passengers and 1,674 international flight passengers. This figure has decreased by 10.65 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 44,742 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport in March 2024 totaled 40,226 people, consisting of 38,676 domestic flight passengers and 1,550 international flight passengers. This figure decreased by 9.44 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 44,417 people.
