Tourism and Air Transportation Developments May 2024

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Surakarta City in May 2024 was recorded at 59.34 percent, an increase of 6.88 points compared to the TPK in April 2024 which was recorded at 52.46 percent. Meanwhile, the TPK for non-star hotels was recorded at 31.89 percent, an increase of 1.81 points compared to the TPK in April 2024 which was recorded at 30.08 percent.

The average length of stay (RLM) for star hotel guests in May 2024 was recorded at 1.43 days, an increase of 0.06 points compared to April 2024 which was recorded at 1.37 days. Meanwhile, RLM for non-star hotels was recorded at 1.15 days, an increase of 0.04 points compared to April 2024 which was recorded at 1.11 days.

The number of commercial airplane passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in May 2024 was 41,247 people, all of whom were domestic flight passengers. This figure has decreased by 32.73 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 61,320 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport in May 2024 totaled 70,125 people, consisting of 44,571 domestic flight passengers and 25,554 international flight passengers. This figure has increased by 20.54 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 58,178 people.
