Surakarta City in December 2020 Experienced Inflation of 0.32 Percent

In December 2020 the city of Surakarta experienced inflation of 0.32 percent with the Price Index
Consumers of 104.61. This inflation is due to an increase in indicated prices
by rising consumer price index numbers. Expenditure group that experienced an increase
price index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group rose 1.21 percent, group
clothing and footwear rose 0.03 percent, the health group rose 0.48 percent, group
transportation rose 0.08 percent, the information, communication and financial services group rose 0.02
percent, the recreation, sports and culture group rose 0.12 percent and the treatment group
personal and other services rose 0.14 percent. On the other hand, the housing, water, electricity and materials group
household fuel fell 0.01 percent and the equipment, equipment and group
household routine maintenance fell 0.01 percent. While the education group and
the food, beverage / restaurant supply group is relatively stable.

The inflation rate for the calendar year (January - December) 2020 is 1.38 percent.

all cities experience inflation. The highest inflation occurred in the city of Tegal at 0.56 percent, followed
Semarang city 0.49 percent, Kudus city 0.42 percent, Cilacap city 0.35
