Development of Tourism and Air Transportation in Surakarta October 2019

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in the city of Surakarta in October 2019 was recorded at 59.93 percent, an increase of 2.43 points compared to the TPK in September 2019 which was recorded at 57.50 percent. Whereas the ROR for non-star hotels / other accommodation averaged 36.73 percent, an increase of 2.22 points compared to the ROR in September 2019 which reached 34.51 percent.
The average length of stay (RLM) of all star hotel guests in October 2019 was 1.55 days, an increase of 0.04 points compared to September 2019 which was 1.51 days.
The number of commercial air passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in October 2019 totaled 76,100 people, consisting of 68,906 domestic flight passengers and 7,194 international flight passengers. That number increased by 20.63 percent compared to the previous month, which numbered 63,087 people.
Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport numbered 75,406 people, consisting of 67,693 passengers on domestic flights and 7,713 passengers on international flights. This figure increased by 14.73 percent compared to the previous month, which numbered 65,725 people.
