Development of Tourism and Air Transportation in Surakarta March 2019

Star Hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Surakarta City in March 2019 was recorded at 53.98 percent, an increase of 1.79 points compared to TPK in February 2019 which was recorded at 52.19 percent. Meanwhile, the average ROR for non-star hotels / accommodations was 33.12 percent, an increase of 0.93 points compared to the TPK in February 2019 which reached 32.19 percent.

Average Length of Stay (RLM) of all star hotel guests in March 2019 was recorded at 1.38 days, a decrease of 0.02 points compared to February 2019 which was recorded at 1.40 days.

The number of commercial airplane passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in March 2019 amounted to 72,052 people, consisting of 66,498 passengers on domestic flights and 5,554 passengers on international flights. This number has increased by 13.87 percent compared to the previous month, which recorded a total of 63,274 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport numbered 69,725 people consisting of 64,522 passengers on domestic flights and 5,203 passengers on international flights. This number shows an increase of 10.21 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 63,266 people.
