Development of Tourism and Air Transportation in Surakarta in August 2019

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in the city of Surakarta in August 2019 was recorded at 57.27 percent, a decrease of 3.70 points compared to the TPK in July 2019 which was recorded at 60.97 percent. Whereas the ROR for non-star hotels / other accommodation averaged 33.58 percent, a decrease of 2.08 points compared to the ROR in July 2019 which reached a magnitude of 35.66 percent.
The average length of stay (RLM) for all star hotel guests in August 2019 was 1.45 days, an increase of 0.01 points compared to July 2019 which was 1.44 days.
The number of commercial air passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in August 2019 totaled 72,196 people, consisting of 71,546 domestic flight passengers and 650 international flight passengers. This figure increased by 5.72 percent compared to the previous month, which numbered 68,293 people.
Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport numbered 68,395 people, consisting of 67,768 passengers on domestic flights and 627 passengers on international flights. That number decreased by 4.98 percent compared to the previous month, which numbered 71,978 people.
