Development of Tourism and Air Transportation in Surakarta April 2019

The star occupancy rate (TPK) in Surakarta City in April 2019 was recorded at 57.29 percent, an increase of 3.31 points compared to the TPK in March 2019 which was recorded at 53.98 percent. While the non-star hotel / other accommodation RORs averaged 34.72 percent, an increase of 1.60 points compared to the TPK in March 2019 which reached 33.12 percent.

Average Length of Stay (RLM) of all star hotel guests in April 2019 was recorded at 1.39 days, an increase of 0.01 points compared to March 2019 which was recorded at 1.38 days.

The number of commercial airplane passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in April 2019 totaled 65,311 people, consisting of 61,334 passengers on domestic flights and 3,977 passengers on international flights. This number decreased by 9.36 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 72,052 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport totaling 65,357 people consisted of 60,238 passengers on domestic flights and 5,119 passengers on international flights. This number shows a decrease of 6.26 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 69,725 people.
