Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Public Service Standards

Taking place in the BPS Surakarta City Hall (23/4), BPS Surakarta City again held the 2025 Public Service Standards FGD.

This activity is a strategic step to gather critical suggestions and ideas from data consumers, such as academics, OPD, NGOs, mass media, and entrepreneurs for the sake of improving public services that are faster, more efficient, and satisfying for data consumers.

The speakers this time were the Head of BPS Surakarta City and the Head of the Public Service Team. On this occasion, three interesting topics were presented, namely Public Service Standards, socialization of the WhatsApp PANDAWA service (Request for Statistical Data via WhatsApp), and socialization in welcoming the 2026 Economic Census.

How to obtain micro data, interpretation of macro indicators, BPS data collection coverage, and readiness to oversee the implementation of SE2026 became interesting discussions and joint commitments among participants.

Hopefully the results of the 2025 Public Service Standards FGD will be the driving force for BPS Surakarta City to improve quality Prime Services.
