Official Statistics News Release (BRS) of Surakarta City August 2024

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Surakarta City has again released Strategic Data for Surakarta City at the BPS Hall of Surakarta City.

The Head of BPS of Surakarta City, Ratna Setyowati, conveyed three Macro Indicators of Surakarta City, namely the Development of the Consumer Price Index in July 2024, the Development of Tourism in June 2024 and the Development of Air Transportation in June 2024.

In July 2024, Surakarta City again experienced month-to-month deflation of 0.06 percent. Shallots were the largest contributor to deflation in July 2024.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Surakarta City in June 2024 was recorded at 56.27 percent, a decrease of 3.07 points compared to the TPK in May 2024 which was recorded at 59.34 percent.
