Official News Release of Surakarta City Statistics July 2024

Taking place in the Narapraja Meeting Room of the Surakarta City Hall Complex, the Surakarta City Central Statistics Agency released the Surakarta City Strategic Data.

On this occasion, the Head of the Surakarta City BPS delivered three Macro Indicators of Surakarta City, namely the Development of the Consumer Price Index in June 2024, the Development of Tourism in May 2024 and the Development of Air Transportation in 2024.

In June 2024, Surakarta City experienced deflation (month-to-month) of 0.34%. Shallots were the largest contributor to deflation in June 2024.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Surakarta City in May 2024 was recorded at 59.34 percent, an increase of 6.88 points compared to the TPK in April 2024 which was recorded at 52.46 percent.
