The portrait of the achievement of the welfare level of the Surakarta City population is getting better.

Susenas data for March 2024 shows that the poverty rate for Surakarta City in 2024 was recorded at 8.31 percent with the number of poor people reaching 43.28 thousand people.

Thus, the number of poor people decreased by 0.61 thousand people compared to the conditions in 2023.
