Visit of Surakarta City Tourism Office

On Wednesday, July 4, 2024, the Surakarta City Central Statistics Agency received a visit from the Surakarta City Tourism Office. This visit was carried out in the context of collaboration and coordination related to tourism statistics data.

The group was received by the Head of the Surakarta City BPS Ratna Setyowati accompanied by the Head of the Information Technology and Tourism Finance Team (KTIP) and the PJ IT field of the Surakarta City BPS.

The main point in this meeting was the socialization and discussion of the Teman Wisata Asik application newly developed by the Surakarta City Tourism Office which aims to accelerate the collection of tourism statistics data and encourage tourism business actors to play an active role as data sources. On this occasion, the Surakarta City Diparta asked for input from BPS regarding the application and future improvements.
