Kaleidoscope of Bureaucratic Reform of BPS Surakarta 2021

BPS Surakarta City is committed to carrying out Bureaucratic Reform in order to realize the BPS vision of "Provider of Quality Statistical Data for Advanced Indonesia". Bureaucratic Reform in BPS Surakarta City has received recognition from the Menpan RB as evidenced by the success of BPS Surakarta City in getting the title of Integrity Zone towards WBK in 2020. The Integrity Zone (ZI) is a predicate given to government agencies whose leaders and staff are committed to realizing WBK /WBBM through bureaucratic reform, especially in terms of preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services. By obtaining the ZI predicate towards WBK in 2020, BPS Surakarta City is expected to become a pilot role model for other work units in carrying out Bureaucratic Reform.

In 2021 BPS Surakarta City will continue various work programs for Bureaucratic Reform. Bureaucratic reforms carried out by the Surakarta City BPS were carried out in various fields including building applications and information systems that were built with the aim of supporting employee performance in providing services to the community effectively, efficiently and economically. The journey of Bureaucratic Reform at the Surakarta City BPS and various applications at the Surakarta City BPS turned out to be able to attract the interest of other Regency / City BPS to visit the Surakarta City BPS to conduct a comparative study or plan to conduct an ATM (observe, imitate, and modify) application. It was recorded that 8 Regency/City BPS-Statistics Indonesia has conducted a comparative study to Surakarta City BPS-Statistics Indonesia, including Temanggung Regency BPS, Kudus Regency BPS, Blora Regency BPS, Boyolali Regency BPS, Karanganyar Regency BPS, Pemalang Regency BPS, Batang Regency BPS, and Wonosobo Regency BPS. In addition to the BPS work unit, there are local city government offices that have expressed their desire to use the application built by the Surakarta City BPS to support their duties and functions. In 2021, BPS Surakarta City won the title of Integrity Zone towards WBBM from BPS RI and in the future BPS Surakarta City will continue to be committed to carrying out Bureaucratic Reform in a sustainable manner in an effort to provide the best service for the community.
