Human Development Index of Surakarta Municipality 2020

By giving thanks to Allah SWT. It is with his permission that the publication of the "Surakarta City Human Development Index 2020" can be presented. This publication is expected to provide a macro overview of human development policies in the city of Surakarta.

The leading display of HDI in Surakarta City is described through each of its constituent indicators. The indicators are Life Expectancy (AHH) for measurement in the health sector; Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) and Average Length of Schools (RLS) to measure the education sector; and the Purchasing Power Component for measurement in the economic field.

We have tried our best to present this publication as well as possible, however, feedback and suggestions from all parties are most welcome. Hopefully this publication will be useful for evaluation and development planning in Surakarta City.
