Economic Growth of Surakarta Municipality in 2024

The economy of Surakarta City in 2024 based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices (ADHB) reached IDR 64,700.97 billion and at constant prices (ADHK) 2010 reached IDR 42,897.32 billion.

The economy of Surakarta City in 2024 was recorded to have experienced positive growth, namely 5.61 percent, this growth is faster than the achievement in 2023 which grew 5.57 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Information and Communication Business Field, namely 9.87 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest increase was recorded by the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, namely 12.59 percent.

Structurally, the Construction Business Sector dominates the economic structure of Surakarta City in 2024 with a contribution of 24.49 percent, while in terms of expenditure, it is dominated by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) Component with a contribution of 61.48 percent.
