Tourism and Air Transportation Developments January 2024

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Surakarta City in January 2024 was recorded at 45.93 percent, a decrease of 18.78 points compared to the TPK in December 2023 which was recorded at 64.71 percent. Meanwhile, the TPK for non-star hotels was recorded at 30.28 percent, a decrease of 9.72 percent compared to the TPK in December 2023 which was recorded at 40.00 percent.

The average length of stay (RLM) for star hotel guests in January 2024 was recorded at 1.41 days, an increase of 0.08 points compared to December 2023 which was recorded at 1.33 days. Meanwhile, RLM for non-star hotels was recorded at 1.15 days, an increase of 0.06 points compared to December 2023 which was recorded at 1.09 days.

The number of commercial airplane passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in January 2024 was 44,085 people, consisting of 43,028 domestic flight passengers and 1,057 international flight passengers. This figure decreased by 15.14 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 51,948 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport in January 2024 totaled 47,806 people, consisting of 46,513 domestic flight passengers and 1,293 international flight passengers. This figure decreased by 8.07 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 52,003 people.
