Developments in Tourism and Air Transportation May 2023

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Surakarta City in May 2023 was recorded at 55.46 percent, an increase of 8.12 points compared to the TPK in April 2023 which was recorded at 47.34 percent.

The average length of stay (RLM) for all star hotel guests in May 2023 was recorded at 1.43 days, an increase of 0.09 points compared to April 2023 which was recorded at 1.34 days.

The number of commercial airplane passengers arriving through Adi Sumarmo airport in May 2023 totaled 52,910 people, all of whom were domestic flight passengers. This figure decreased by 1.76 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 53,860 people.

Passengers departing from Adi Sumarmo airport in May 2023 totaled 65,884 people, consisting of 60,856 passengers on domestic flights and 5,028 passengers on international flights. This figure has increased by 37.42 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 47,942 people.
