The City of Surakarta in February 2020 Experienced Inflation of 0.41 Percent

In February 2020 the city of Surakarta experienced inflation of 0.41 percent with the Consumer Price Index of 103.75. This inflation is due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the consumer price index figures. Expenditures group experienced an increase in price index namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group rose 1.74 percent, the education group rose 0.04 percent, the food and beverage / restaurant supply group rose 0.99 percent and the personal care and other services group rose 0 12 percent. In contrast, the clothing and footwear group declined 0.04 percent, the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group dropped 0.02 percent, the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group fell 0.36 percent, the health group fell 0.19 percent, the transportation group fell 0.83 percent and the information, communication and financial services group fell 0.06 percent.
