Training for Village Potential Data Collection Officers (Podes) 2024

The Village Potential Data Collection (Podes 2024) is a complete data collection that captures the socio-economic reality in all village-level government administration areas. The data from Podes data collection is able to describe the potential possessed by an area at the village/sub-district, sub-district and district/city levels throughout Indonesia.

On April 23 2024, BPS Surakarta City has started the 2024 Podes Activity Series by holding Training for Village Potential Data Collection Officers (Podes) 2024. This training activity was carried out on April 23-24 2024 online and offline on April 25 2024 in the BPS Hall Surakarta City. The training involved 11 people, facilitated by 1 regional instructor.

In her speech, the Head of BPS Surakarta City, Ratna Setyowati, conveyed the importance of Podes data for formulating policies and evaluating regional development at the sub-district/village level. The 2024 Podes Field Data Collection activity will be carried out in May 2024.
